A recent study found that ¾ of the people taking the General Educational Development exam considered the math portion the most difficult. Where We Work Together

For five days a week, Monday - Friday from 11:30am to 12:30pm( by appointment so use the contact form on this website to schedule), General Educational Development candidates can come to the University of Alabama in Huntsville’s engineering building , room 219, and receive math support at no cost.

Most days there are about 3-4 students. We encourage new students to come on a regular basis. Some do not come every day, but for those who are able to... it really pays off.

When in need, WCI will employ other Scientist, Engineers and even qualified students at local colleges/universities learning centers to help with math and science tutoring when demand for WCI math services exceed the human resources to support those General Educational Development students in need.

Why we need donations

Donations are needed to support our efforts. Many of those working at a second chance for their high school diploma also need support in the area of math and science.

We encourage those who are able, to donate to our efforts. Contributions will help with our efforts relative to supplies, human resources, storage, equipment etc. as we Pay it Forward with this GED STEM support service.
